This halogen star projector transforms a darkened room into a 360-degree space theater. The Star Theater 2 Home Planetarium projects hundreds of stars, planets and constellations onto the walls and ceiling. And its new Interactive Meteor Maker lets kids make realistic streaks across the night sky. Includes films to display famous comets such as Halley's, plus an all new CD guided audio tour of the night sky. Features a bright halogen light source, large constellation dome to maximize projection of the stars. Portable for indoor or outdoor use. Requires 5 "AAA" alkaline batteries (not included). Review of Star Theater Planetarium - J. Miller -
Prompt service but a disappointment for the 10 yr old grand daughter. Maybe a younger aged child would like.

This planetarium is just a light bulb which reflects a black shadow with barely visible names on your ceiling. It does not glow in the dark and the light is so bright that you can't even use it for a night light. I have nothing positive to say about this, besides the educational CD that comes with it is good.
